How many years of years of W-2 form copies do we need to attach, when we file I-485 applications?
There is no definate answer,but in general lawyers ask for last three W2 with last three paystubs plus last three years returns filing copy.

Why do you even assume that the people who come here by winning the DV lottery are going to abuse the system just like that. One of the requirements to qualify for DV is high school education and work skill in addition to have been born in certain countries. Please look that up. So these people may not neccessarily have advanced degrees (although some may well have them) they are still educated and skilled people who after coming here will start working and start contributing to the society. Yes, there will be some exceptions but then I am sure there are few people in EB lines that abuse the system.
THe Lottery is the dumbest piece to obtain GC. Imagine some guy who does nothing to the USA applies, comes here sucks the $$ out of the system by coming here, staying here and enjoying all monetray benefits of a GC like unemployment benefits etc
If this passes. THere would be a huge relief among people who have advanced degrees

Again he wants his message to be clear. Here in US, Indians means Native Indians. Everyone till now whom I have come across refer to Indain while they speak and that is for Native Indians and not us. Also our motherland INDIA is in south east asia which is why he clearly said EAST INDIANS. So take a dip in cold water and move on.

I already send my EAD card. on Dec 11th. When did you resubmitted EAD Card and how many day USCIS took to reissue new EAD cards.

It is possible to transfer a PD from one employment-based green card case to another, filed for the same individual, if the first case has reached the point where the 1-140 petition has been approved. Similarly, it is possible, in certain limited situations, to transfer a priority date from an approved I-130 petition to a later family-based filing. On occasion, however, it is difficult to make the service centers aware that the beneficiary has an earlier priority date.
The NSC, on June 14, 2005, provided instructions for a person filing a petition and requesting an earlier priority date based upon a previous case. A brightly-colored, flagged sheet of paper should be included to indicate that there is an earlier priority date. Though the NSC did not indicate where this should go in the filing, it is generally best to put such requests on the top of the filing or directly behind the cover sheet, to maximize the chance that it will be seen and acknowledged. Is that mean i can file I-485 with my previously approved I-140? I have also drop an email to my HR regarding the same. We do not have direct access to Attorney as every thing has to be directed by HR.

Which Consulate you went for renewal?
It looks like case of establishing Employee - employer relationship and RFE is requested for the same.
You work for comp A which has contract with Comp B and Comp B makes you work for Comp C.
You need contract between Comp B and Comp C as well.
Search for Employer Employee memo, which was issued in Jan 2010 y USICS, that should clear the picture for you.
Note: I am not a professional, these comments are FYI only, pls seek professional advice for details.

Doesn't matter. MS+0 works just fine. (My EB-2 was MS+0).
If you've been working for this company for past 2 years and now they are going to file your GC... and you've no prior experience.. you can mention in your employment letter that you've been working since 2 years and could attach an experience letter from them to highlight the fact.. This is definitely doable and lawyer should have correct format to do this...

Are you 100% sure that it's the stamped visa date which will be given on the arrival and not the extension date ?? I was under the impression other way round ?

I have the notice of action for my I-140 approval. It doesn't mention an A# anywhere. Are you sure about this?

From what i gathered, It seems these 2 things could effect your processing apart from PD....
Both can be done, if you take a infopass at your local office....
1) I-485 fingerprints
2) A# Mismatch on i-485 receipt, i- 140 approval notice
For me, i didnt get FP notice from USCIS, i had to go to local office and get that done in feb. 2008.
A# also didntnt match, So, i called POJ and they said, they open a ticket to consolidate. If i dont see an LUD in a week, i will have to go to a local office and try again...

There is no box for A#. The fields are - Receipt #, Case Type (I-140), Receipt Date, Priority Date, Petitioner, Notice Date, Page (1 of 1), Beneficiary, Law firm's name and address, Notice Type (Approval, Preference category).
This was around April 2006. Maybe they changed the format?

hey dude there's nothing in the url u posted once go to the website and click the the pressure list url.that is the actual Noc codes that are active.Today morning when i spoke to the immigraton officer in alberta he was the one who told me ok.
It was mentioned last month in the AINP website that some changes would be there in the NOC list after April 15. Everybody whoever followed this thread saw the message earlier. On April 15 they removed the message from AINP website and apparantly there was no change in NOC list till now. OP gave us correct information when he/she created this thread. See my post in April 15 in this thread and I mentioned that nothing was changed in NOC list. Again going back to my original question did you follow this thread from start? I objected to this comment "I donno why people place messages with Half Knowledge". Apparantly you had the half knowlodge about this whole issue.

1) my and wife air ticket to india for visa stamping.
2) All visa fees
3) all hotel exp.
4) All attorney and USCIS fees .
but check with your CPA .
Jeezz.. travel to India? Is this personal or business travel? If business didn't you get paid for international travel?
I guess everything related to conducting your business can be itemized as tax deductable.

What you did was wrong.
Coming to the verification process, They would ask if this employee really worked at the employer location and the responsibilities. They would not ask wether the EVL submitted was indeed issued by the employer.

I worked for a firm for last couple of years and then moved to another firm. Now I want to apply for a Perm process and need the Experience letter. My previous employer has issued me the experience letter without my roles and responsibility:
It was an unprotected word file, so I changed it and incorporated the roles and responsibilty and my self submitted it to my employer; Now i am afraid if they are going to verify it.
1. What is the INS verification process?
2. Do employer can verifty it by Fax?
3. What can happen if INS came to know that everything was fine except the roles and responsibilities was included afterwards?
